Answer: No, the TV wall mount can not be installed on the sheetrock/drywall alone. This product is designed for use on the wood stud, solid concrete and brick walls.
Our wall mounts are only designed to be installed on wood studs, concrete, and brick walls. The included hardware is only intended for those applications. Installing on metal studs or drywall alone voids the warranty and may not be safe. If you search "mount tv on metal studs" on YouTube, you will see installers that use Snap Toggle bolts and similar hardware. It requires that you drill a hole in the metal stud big enough to feed the metal end of the bolt through, which can then be tightened with the bolt to "sandwich" the metal stud, drywall, and TV wall plate together.These Snap Toggle style bolts are only approved to be used with fixed and tilting mounts, but not full motion mounts. Full motion mounts require a structural element to include wood studs, concrete, or brick. A full motion mount installed in anything other than wood studs, concrete, or brick is at risk of pulling out of the wall and causing damage or injury.In any event, if you have an installation scenario that does not fit our instructions, it is best to either consult a certified and/or licensed installer who may have solutions that will work.
A VESA pattern refers to the configuration of the four mounting holes on the back of a TV or monitor. For example, a 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern is arranged in a square 100 mm apart. Before you select a mount, check the back of your display for the VESA mounting holes. The specifications should also be in your owner's manual. You can measure the distance between the holes (center to center) to verify the VESA configuration. Many mounts accommodate a variety of patterns, but make sure that the mount you choose fits the equipment you have or plan to purchase.
On the back of your TV or monitor, locate the four mounting holes. They will be in either a square or rectangular configuration. Measure the distance between the holes. The most common and standard VESA patterns are designed in 100mm increments, roughly equivalent to 4 inches. The distance may be close to 4 inches, 8 inches, or 16 inches apart. VESA patterns are listed with the horizontal distance first, followed by the vertical distance. For example, holes that are 8” by 4” apart would be categorized as a 400x200mm VESA pattern.

The height of your TV depends on a variety of factors including furniture, size of room, and viewing preferences. The simplest method is to position the TV so that the center is the same height as your eye level.If you watch TV most often while sitting down, centering your TV about 42 inches above the ground should work well. However, if your TV is extremely large, or you have a seating area with high-top bar stools, you may want to mount the TV higher.Whichever height you choose, try to make sure that the bottom of the TV is still close to sitting eye level. When TVs are mounted too high, craning your neck to look up can lead to neck and back discomfort or eye strain when watching for long periods of time.
Answer: If the lag screws are damaged, please refer to your product manual and contact the customer service number suggested. Please follow the product manual installation process (TO ATTACH THE TV WALL MOUNT ON THE WALL) correctly:
a. Pre-drill the pilot holes required by the instruction manual.
b. Use a socket wrench, rather than the electronic tool which may damage the lag screws.
Answer: Before attaching the TV to the mount, please try to pull down the TV wall mount with your hands to check whether it is firmly secured.
PLEASE NOTE: This answer is only suitable for the TV that has a bolt pattern smaller than 400mm (16 inches).
Step 1 Remove the TV from the TV wall mount.
Step 2 Remove the TV brackets on the TV.(For lifting up the TV, follow the instruction of A. For lowering the TV, follow the instruction of B).
Step 3 Re-attach the TV on the TV Wall Mount.
A. After installation your TV is not level, please adjust the leveling fasteners to level the TV. Finally tighten the leveling fasteners firmly to hold the angle in place. Choose the following method (A/B/C) that fits the TV wall mount!
Caution:When making this adjust, please know that these screws also hold your TV to the mount. Please only loosen them to prevent the TV plate from falling off the mount. When level please tighten them.
Answer B: Check if the bolt holes are at the same level. Move both TV brackets upward to reduce the gap between the holes and bolts, then tighten the bolts.
Answer C: Check if the wall plate is level with bubble level. If wall plate not level, adjust it to level.

Answer C：If you have tried Answers A and B, but still hard to extend, please add the machine oil and make sure it goes in the joints of the arm.
Answer A: Check if the tilting fasteners are too loose to hold the tilting angle. Please tighten the tilting fasteners to hold the angle in place. Answer B: Use the tool to loosen the tilting fasteners on the front end of the arm. Then tilt the TV to your desired angle. Finally tighten the tilting fasteners to hold the angle in place. Choose the following method(a/b) that fifits the TV wall mount!
